“Emily embodies everything that Israel has to offer! She knew the land, the culture, and the people! Introducing us to thought leaders, church groups, missionaries, and families… Every single meeting was intentional and that stems from the incredible guidance of Emily who cultivated a lasting trip that was so pivotal for learning.
I was most impacted by the reality of the kingdom, text from the Bible came to life in so many ways. We got to explore significant dig sites, see with our own eyes areas that were depicted in scripture, and feel the culture feel the spiritual aspect of all of it. The most significant place was Shiloh, where the tabernacle was discovered. There is a lot of strength in this location historically and spiritually, it really was the epitome of the trip.
To discover a new land and uncover something that had been there for so many years that people from all over the world would pilgrimage to that place to rest with God, that we were blessed to be able to rest with God. I feel closer to God now more than ever, I always come back to the armor of God in Ephesians and the truth of it is that we do not wrestle with flesh and blood but with principalities. This trip signify that and helped me pick my eyes up from the ground and started to look on the horizon so thank you Emily thank you for cultivating an incredible team an incredible experience and a life-changing trip!”

“I have read the Bible cover to cover many times, so I have always believed Israel was really important for God’s purposes on the earth. I didn’t realize how many things still need to take place in Israel before Jesus returns. A lot of verses and Scriptures make a lot more sense now. I also didn’t know the nuances of what was happening between Israel and Palestine. Being on the ground helped me begin to wrap my head around what was happening there and again emphasized the importance of supporting Israel as a nation.
I learned how to operate on a new level of spiritual authority on this trip. It’s difficult to explain, but I feel like God pushed me to level up, pray more boldly, and step out in faith in greater ways. All my physical limits were pushed on this trip and God showed me that He is the one that sustains me, not the things of the world. I feel closer to the Lord after this trip. I also feel like God has taught me to see the Spirit in new ways.
I am forever changed by this trip and so is my relationship with God. I feel like I know God better. I also understand that it’s such a privilege to be a Gentile grafted into the olive tree of God’s people, God’s nation. What a joy to share in the blessings of his nation.
Emily is an incredibly gifted leader. Her ability to organize and plan trips with such spiritual significance and impact is unlike anything I have ever seen. If you want to visit Israel there is no better person to have leading and guiding your trip. She will take you to places most tourists won’t go. I would do it all over again in a heartbeat. Thanks, Emily for being our fearless leader!”

“Having come on a tour with Emily in 2017, it was such a privilege to be invited to come and co-lead this tour with her. On both occasions, being in the land in which Jesus walked has facilitated encounters that simply can't be had anywhere else. Understanding more and more the Jewish roots of our Christian faith, my devotion to Yeshua has only been deepened and strengthened.
As I journeyed with other people, it was also so enlightening to see the extent to which we are exposed to such a negative narrative about Israel here in the UK, it was humbling to see much of that narrative deconstructed, and replaced with a much more balanced view of the complexity of the Middle East at this time. God has definitely given me a love for the people of Israel, and a greater resolve and boldness to be willing to stick my head above the parapet here in the UK and challenge the heavily negative perspective on Israel that is often prevalent in popular culture and the media.
I can't wait to go back and do it all again. Thanks so much, Emily for all you're doing, the ramifications of which will be felt across eternity, not just for myself but for all those who come.”

“Israel had always been on my bucket list, but it hadn't crossed my mind that we would ever visit so soon. I have definitely learned so much more about Jesus as a Jew. I haven't ever really been exposed to Judaism, so it was amazing to get a real insight into the religion and people. It's easy to skip through the sections in the Bible that refer to certain "Jewish" details or practices e.g. Shabbat, and think nothing of it. This trip has really helped me understand the culture. I am definitely a much more visual person, and physically seeing the different Biblical locations and picture parts of Jesus’ life in situ/context was just mind-blowing. A part of the tour that mainly stuck out for me was when we were overlooking Jerusalem. We heard the call to prayers from the surrounding mosques and I began to experience God’s deep grief for this Holy city. It was so surreal to discern the intense spiritual battle over Jerusalem between all the religions. It was then that I felt the Holy Spirit give me a wake-up call to the situation in Israel and to pray for the nation.
I can't stop telling everyone about Israel! We're excited to visit again in the near future. I'm also amazed and grateful to witness my husband grow in faith on this trip. God desires us to know and love Him more and more, and this tour was the best way to encounter Him on a whole new level.”

I really had the most amazing trip and it was so much better than I expected it to be. I went not really knowing what to expect but I definitely had a preconception that there would be a lot of hostility and that a lot of the time I would feel unsafe and instead I found the opposite. The land was just so vast and visually beautiful.
My intentionality of coming on this trip was to come and see and feel the bible in a different way when I read it and I think I got such an amazing picture of that as we had such a vast ray of locations to go to that visualized the bible in the most incredible way. It was so useful to be in such a Jewish environment and to understand that Jesus was a Jew and meet Jewish believers and hear how they speak about Jesus and experience the Shabbat dinners and all those different sorts of things. This trip was absolutely key to seeing Jesus in the Jewish context and knowing more about the Jewish faith. The other things that were quite profound were the prayer room (Succot Hallel) which has a view of the old city of Jerusalem because when we were on the mount of olives looking over Jerusalem we heard the call to prayer over the city and it was a little disturbing but then when we’re at the prayer room on the last day it was reassuring to know that there were people praying and singing worship over the city also.
The food was amazing and our tour guide was incredible, waking up really early and going to Masada was unreal and I am really excited about sharing the photos I got with people as I have now got a really big passion to encourage other people to go to Israel. Being a photographer, I want to give people a more tangible idea of the experiences I had out there, and definitely more young Christians in the U.K. should be encouraged to go on a journey to Israel as its an opportunity for your faith to grow but also it’s just an amazing experience to do this with other young Christians. The people we went with were unreal and Emily did the most amazing job it was just so good.

“I can admit that I was wildly ignorant about Israel before coming on this trip. I had a very vague understanding that the people of Israel were important to the Lord and had something to do with Jesus’ return but beyond that, utterly clueless. I stepped onto the plane believing I would see history in new ways. I guessed I would see lots of stones and ruins and understand the land as the birthplace of what Jesus came to do., I came “devotionally” with hopes that my own spirit would catch something new and I would be propelled in my faith. I did not have any framework of love for the people of Israel or the literal prophecies about Jesus’ imminent return.
I have left this pilgrimage utterly changed. I will never read scripture the same way again. By seeing the land and places where the Old Testament unfolded with my own eyes has unlocked what feels like a concrete reality. The history of the Jewish people and the heritage of Yeshua are rooted in immutable truth. This means that He is coming back and there are literal prophecies in the bible that teach what has to take place before He does. I now feel equipped to understand the signs of the times. I could never wrap my head around the truth of eschatology before – it felt somewhat irrelevant, and I didn’t understand how it applied to me or how the knowledge could shape my understanding of God. What this trip woke up in me is a hunger to study and learn and pray with a new heart posture of authority.
There is an urgency put in me for the truth of the gospel to be spread through the way that I live my life. This is no longer about performance or an awkward spiritual striving to be found right before God, this is now a call to action to participate in a much larger narrative of the Kingdom. This is not my story. This is His story and I belong in it. It’s not individual, it’s corporate and because of that, I’m covered and not a lone ranger. I belong to a family that is connected together through worship and the cross and I am empowered now to act like a family member.”
Luke Hamilton, London, U.K. - Church of England
Over the past week not only did I encounter Jerusalem, nor did I simply encounter an incredible county full of life, but this last week I encountered the Lord in a whole new light. Through walking in the footsteps of Jesus, absorbing the culture of the land and eating far too much humus, I experienced one of the most profound weeks of my life so far. Coming to Israel was always something I knew I would do, but assumed it wouldn't be until much later in life that I would be able.
So from the offset this opportunity was a blessing, giving me space to wait upon the Lord, listen to his guidance and gather together with an incredible group, from which I have learnt a vast amount. The thoughts and fruit as a result of this trip will be far from momentary and I know will impact both my faith and life for many years to come. Leaving this experience and with busy London life awaiting, I return a little bit sunburnt and refreshed in my faith but also with a huge passion for the country of Israel and the people within it.
Never before have I been so eager to return to a country before having even left it. From the bottom of my heart I thank the people who helped make this trip possible, I will be forever grateful.
